The BeSafe Izi Combi Car Seat can be used in a  rearward or forward facing position until approximately 4 years of age (18 kgs) and features an improved harness system that greatly reduces impact in the event of a collision.

This is the third generation (X3)  Izi Combi with improved headrest and harness adjustment. As you adjust the head rest the linked harness also adjusts to the correct position. This new version also incorporates small magnets in the shoulder pads and side wings that keep the harness open and out of your way whilst you secure your child into the car seat.

The Besafe Izi Combi Group 0+/1 Isofix Car Seat is proven to be five times safer than forward facing ones for children up to the age of four. BeSafe have played a key role in informing Scandinavian parents of the safety benefits of rearward facing car seats and now the majority of families in Scandinavia use rearward facing seats.

The iZi Combi Car Seat allows children to sit rearward facing up to the age of four. The seat has been designed with a brand new harness system that reduces the impact on the child in an accident and is made from energy-absorbent material.

Based on the previous ‘Best in Test’ Izi Combi X1, the Izi Combi ISOFix has a sturdy base that attaches to the vehicle ISOFix anchor points, providing a mechanical anchorage that is stable, and safe, dramatically reducing the risk of incorrect fitting. To reduce the chance of incorrect fitting even further, the Izi Combi has fitting indicators which show when the car seat has been fitted in the correct position. The shell of the Izi Combi has been developed to give maximum side impact protection if an impact should occur from the side, but without restricting movement during the journey.
